Taprow: Arrow Logic Puzzle (“Taprow”, “the app”)

Publisher: Oswaldstack Studios (“we”, “us”)

Last updated: 17 August 2026

This policy applies worldwide, including the United States, United Kingdom, European Economic Area, Switzerland, India, and all other countries where the app is offered. It describes what the current Android app actually does.

1. Who this app is for

Taprow is a casual puzzle game for a general audience aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete data we control.

2. What we collect

We do not require a name, email, or account to play.

On your device (stored locally)

This data stays on the device unless you back up the app with your OS. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Ads may be personalized if you consent (or where personalization is allowed by law). Otherwise we request non-personalized or limited ads when the SDK allows it. Ads are requested with a Teen (T) content rating and are not treated as child-directed (COPPA).

Analytics, crashes, remote config, and push (Google Firebase)

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on the device (for example daily play or streak). Time zone is read so reminders fire at local evening time. Push messages may also be sent via Firebase. You can turn reminders off in Settings and revoke notification permission in system settings.

3. Why we use this data (legal bases)

Where GDPR / UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

In the United States we process this data to provide the app, show ads, measure them, and improve the product, as described here and in partner policies.

4. Ads, EEA / UK / Switzerland, and US states

We use Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. In the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other regions Google designates, a consent message may appear before personalized ads. It includes a way not to consent. In certain US states a privacy message may appear (for example California and other state privacy laws).

If the law requires it, Settings shows Ad privacy options so you can change those choices later. You can also reset or limit the advertising ID in Android settings (Google → Ads / Privacy).

Partner policies: Google Privacy Policy, AdMob, Firebase.

5. Sharing and “sale” / “sharing” of data

We share data with Google (AdMob, Firebase / Google Analytics) as independent controllers or processors, so they can show, measure, and improve ads and analytics. We do not sell your name or email (we do not collect them).

We do not sell personal information for money. Under some US state laws (including California CPRA), sharing identifiers with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising can be treated as a “sale” or “share”. You can opt out via the in-app privacy message / Ad privacy options (where shown) and by using device ad settings or Google Ad Settings.

We do not share data with other game publishers for their independent marketing.

6. International transfers

Google may process data in the United States and other countries. Where GDPR / UK GDPR requires a transfer tool, Google’s terms include Standard Contractual Clauses and related safeguards. By using the app from outside those countries, you understand that partners may process data globally as described in their policies.

7. How long we keep data

We do not operate a player account database.

8. Your rights

EEA, UK, Switzerland: you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability for personal data we control, and you may withdraw consent at any time. You may complain to your local authority (for example the ICO in the UK, or your EU DPA).

United States (including California and other state laws): you may request to know, delete, and correct personal information we hold, and to opt out of sale/sharing of personal information used for advertising as described above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics.

Other countries: you may contact us to ask what we store and to request deletion of data we control. Device data is removed by uninstalling.

Because we do not have player accounts, we may only be able to act on identifiers you provide (for example advertising ID) or instruct you to reset ads / uninstall.

9. Security

We use standard mobile-app and Google SDK protections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material advertising or analytics changes will be reflected here and, where required, in a new consent prompt.
